HOW LONG IS THE TURN AROUND TIME?
Each project is different and depends on the size of the job. It is usually about 2-4 weeks for photography packages (keep in mind I like to try and use natural light in 80% of my work).
ALL YOU DO IS TAKE A PHOTO. WHY DO YOU CHARGE SO MUCH?
This is the most common question (mostly outside of the photography industry). A lot more goes on then just taking a photo. A lot of communication prior to the shoot working out the brief and job ahead + mood boards + planning the shoot and preparing props + sourcing props + shooting the products + editing the photos (sometimes takes longer than the shoot itself) + uploading and sending to client. It’s not all as easy as it seems and I like to tell people give it a go first and then you’ll realise it actually all takes a lot longer to get a great image than you’d think!
WHAT ARE THE BEST TIMES TO POST ON INSTAGRAM?
Sometimes it is a bit of trial and error. Analyse your instagram insights to work out which times are working best for your business/products. Many sites have listed some average engagement times as rough guides to follow, however these won’t always be right for your business and also change regularly.
DO YOU WORK WITH BRANDS REMOTELY?
I am Sydney based, however most of my work is able to be done remotely with the few exceptions of stores/brands that require me to come into their workplace to take images (please let me know initially if you would require this).
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK IN MY SHOOT?
We would always recommend contacting us as soon as you know you are confident you are wanting to proceed with the Shoot. We normally book out 4 weeks in advance, but send us a message and see what we can do.
